Credential Programs

Educational Leadership

Designed for educational professionals currently working full-time in schools, the Educational Leadership Program (EDL) is offered on weekends with all coursework designed to be completed in one academic year. Candidates in the program will be recommended for a California Administrative Services Credential.

Elementary Education

With the successful completion of this program, candidates will be recommended for a California Multiple Subject Credential. A mix of practica and coursework creates opportunities to learn through multiple hands-on experiences while in diverse public school settings.

Secondary Education

A blend of face-to-face and online classes allows students to be placed in schools across California. Classroom discussions are enriched by the inclusion of teaching experiences from a diverse array of communities. Successful completion of this one year program provides students with a preliminary California Single Subject credential.

Special Education

Successful completion of this one year program grants students a preliminary Educational Specialist Credential to teach students with Mild to Moderate Support Needs. Candidates have the option to add an Extensive Support Needs credential through summer coursework. Focus is on special education for all ages and teaching individuals with learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, health impairments, and serious emotional disturbances.
